Stay Shielded, my friend.

Rigid phone and laptop cases designed for everyday use and signal shielding when fully closed.

Open, your device works normally. Fully closed, a multi-layer Faraday enclosure is designed to isolate it from wireless networks. SHIELDED CASE is designed as the first rigid hard-case Faraday line for phones and laptops (company claim).

SHIELDED
How it works

Open to connect. Close to shield.

Two states, one case. Shielding only applies when the case is fully closed and latched.

Open · Connected

Open

Your phone or laptop works normally: calls, messages, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and location all behave as usual. The case protects the device physically, but there's no signal shielding while it's open.

Closed · Shielded

Fully closed

When the case is fully closed and latched, the enclosure is designed to attenuate wireless signals to and from the device. Expect incoming calls and messages not to arrive and wireless location to stop updating until you open it.

Port access & charging

Overlapping shielded port doors let you charge and connect accessories. A port opened while the case is closed creates a gap, so expect reduced shielding until the door is shut.

Full closure matters

Shielding depends on every seam and door being closed. A partly open lid, flap or port door means the device may still connect.

No absolute guarantees

Shielding performance varies by signal band, strength and conditions. Measured results will be published as testing completes.

Limitations. Shielding requires the case to be fully closed. Performance can vary by band, signal strength, device and conditions, and no enclosure blocks every signal in every situation. SHIELDED CASE is a signal-shielding accessory. It isn't a cybersecurity product, and we make no health claims.
Five-layer construction

Built in layers.

  1. Outer shellRigid hard-case exterior for structure and impact protection.
  2. Conductive layerForms the Faraday enclosure when the case is fully closed.
  3. Absorption layerDesigned to help attenuate RF energy.
  4. Control layerManages heat and separation between layers.
  5. Inner linerCompletes the enclosure around the device.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

What happens when the case is fully closed?

The enclosure is designed to attenuate wireless signals such as cellular, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, NFC/RFID and UWB. In practice, calls and messages may not arrive and wireless location may not update until you open the case. Measured results will be published as testing completes.

Does it shield when open?

No. Open, the device connects normally and the case only protects it physically.

Can I charge while it's closed?

Port doors give you charging access. Opening a port door creates a gap, so shielding is reduced until it's closed again.

Is this a cybersecurity or health product?

No. It's a physical signal-shielding accessory. It doesn't replace security software or practices, and we make no health claims.

Which phones and laptops will fit?

Compatibility, sizes and dimensions will be announced at launch.

Can I order now?

Not yet. We aren't taking orders or payments. Join early access to hear about launch first.
